It has become imperative to change how women, especially those affected by emotional, psychological, and domestic abuse, access support, education, and opportunities to rebuild their lives.
The platform combines:
Free education in emotional and psychological health, self-understanding, financial literacy, parenting, and life skills
Trauma-informed support through mentoring and one-to-one coaching
Practical pathways to autonomy, including skills development, work readiness, and small business support
A systemic vision to reform how vulnerable women are supported, moving away from crisis-only solutions toward prevention, dignity, and independence
SheRisesWithYou is a collective, preventative, and empowering system designed to restore agency, identity, and safety.
SheRisesWithYou serves women at different stages of their journey, with different levels of support.
Women who want to:
Understand emotional and psychological abuse
Recognise early warning signs
Develop emotional regulation and self-awareness
Strengthen boundaries and self-worth
Prevent future harm to themselves and their children
This education is open and accessible because prevention should never be a privilege.
Women who have experienced:
domestic violence
emotional or psychological abuse
coercive control
identity erosion and loss of confidence
financial instability following abuse
These women can access:
mentorship
trauma-informed coaching
skills training
guidance toward work, education, or business
Support designed to lead toward autonomy, not dependency, including pathways to stable employment aligned with their skills and interests, as well as access to grants, loans, or support for small-business creation.
Access to these pathways is reviewed and supported to ensure safety, integrity, and sustainability.
SheRisesWithYou also serves:
Women who wish to contribute financially to support more vulnerable women
Professionals who share education and expertise and desire to share it on the platform
Coaches and mentors who offer guidance and accountability, including newly trained trauma-informed coaches
This creates a circular ecosystem in which women who are resourced support women rebuilding, and many later become supporters themselves, making a significant social impact.
Current systems often:
Intervene too late
Focus on survival, not recovery, making recovery last years
Grouping vulnerable people- when vulnerability is surrounded only by vulnerability, there is little opportunity to learn what safety, autonomy or healthy relating actually feels like.
Fail to address emotional and psychological abuse adequately, especially within legal and judicial frameworks.
SheRisesWithYou exists to do it differently.
The long-term mission is to:
Prevent extreme vulnerability through education
Equip women with emotional, psychological, and practical knowledge to recognize abuse, strengthen self-awareness, and develop the skills and confidence to make empowered choices before crisis occurs.
Restore dignity and independence
Provide women with access to mentorship, guidance, and financial resources, such as grants and microloans, to help them rebuild their lives, regain autonomy, and create meaningful opportunities for themselves.
Influence reform in understanding of and support for abuse
Raise awareness and advocate for change in how domestic, psychological, and coercive control abuse are recognised, addressed, and supported, particularly within legal and judicial frameworks, so that survivors are believed, protected, and empowered rather than mislabeled or overlooked.
SheRisesWithYou is a platform in the process of being created to support women impacted by emotional, psychological, and domestic abuse, especially those who feel unable to leave harmful situations due to a lack of resources, support, or opportunities.
Coercive control is a form of abuse that operates through manipulation, fear, isolation, psychological pressure, and the gradual erosion of a woman’s sense of self. Unlike physical violence, coercive control is designed to destabilise perception, confidence, and identity over time, often leaving the victim appearing anxious, confused, depressed, or emotionally dysregulated.
It is the most common framework through which emotional and psychological abuse operates in intimate relationships. It is not just one tactic; it is a pattern of behaviours and power imbalance designed to dominate, entrap, and erode a person's autonomy over time.
Too often, women subjected to coercive control are misunderstood and mislabelled within medical, mental health, and legal systems. Rather than recognising the effects of sustained psychological abuse, their symptoms are frequently framed as individual pathology — anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, or emotional instability. This interpretation is deeply misleading.
The distress experienced by victims of coercive control is not evidence of mental disorder, but a predictable and rational response to prolonged psychological threat, loss of autonomy, and relational captivity. When the context of abuse is removed from the assessment, the system treats the woman as “the problem,” rather than recognising the environment and power dynamics that caused the harm.
This misinterpretation is reinforced by long-standing patriarchal frameworks embedded across medical, psychological, and legal institutions, systems historically shaped without women’s lived experiences at the centre. These frameworks tend to prioritise observable injury over invisible harm, individual diagnosis over relational context, and compliance over self-trust, leaving coercive control poorly recognised and inadequately addressed.
The vision is to build a safe, trauma-informed space where women can access education, guidance, and practical pathways toward autonomy, before harm becomes irreversible.
The first stage of this project is made possible through the purchase of a Founder Certificate. Your support enables us to begin building the platform, developing its structure, and connecting with other women-led initiatives, professionals, and organisations so that this work can be done responsibly, ethically, and sustainably.
SheRisesWithYou is being designed with prevention at its core. Many women remain in abusive relationships not because they don’t recognise the harm, but because they lack financial stability, employment options, housing, or the confidence that comes from being supported. This platform aims to change that — by offering access to emotional and psychological education, trauma-informed mentoring, and pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, relocation, or independent living.
By supporting the creation of SheRisesWithYou, you are helping lay the foundations for a platform built by women, for women—one that focuses not only on healing after harm but also on restoring choice, dignity, and the ability to leave before a woman’s sense of self is eroded.
